The UT Martin Ripley Center began offering degree programs to students primarily from Lauderdale, Dyer, Tipton, Haywood and Crockett Counties in 2005. The center offers bachelor degrees in K-6 Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, Social Work and Criminal Justice as well as the RN-BSN program for nurses. The Ripley Center is pleased to announce the upcoming addition of a full Psychology degree. Other bachelor degree programs that may be completed through the Ripley Center including online completion are Agriculture Business and Business Administration (Management).  The center offers a variety of general-education undergraduate courses designed to accommodate students wishing to begin working toward a degree close to home. The Ripley Center home is a 29000 sq. ft. technologically advanced facility that includes general classroom space, nursing lab, sciences lab, conference room, computer lab, student lounge and snack bar, administrative offices, library resources center, two distance learning classrooms and a state of the art lecture hall. The Ripley Center began as a result of collaboration between the City of Ripley and UT Martin and is supported in part by $250,000 annual appropriations. The Ripley and Lauderdale County Communities and local businesses provide more than $50,000 in scholarships to UTM Ripley Center students.
